Mon affiche dans les Ruuues! / My poster in the Streeeets!

Look, Look !

I made this poster for a soap-box race, it was real fun to draw!
Famous illustrators from geneva made the last years' posters, so it's an honor for me to make this year's one.

I drew that with a black pencil on a textured paper, and then the scanned it and colored it on photoshop. Tadaaa!
I had to be quick.

I tried to give a joyful and children look by choosing different typo and colors of the text.

C'est moi qui ai dessiné cette affiche pour la Course annuelle de Caisses à Savon du Grand-Saconnex!
Des illustrateurs renommés ont fait celles des années précédentes (Frederik Peeters, Buche, Peggy Adam, etc), c'est donc un honneur pour moi de leur succéder.

J'ai dessiné au crayon noir sur du papier à grain, puis j'ai scanné et colorisé sur Photoshop. Tadaaa!
Il a fallu être rapide.

J'ai essayé de donner un air joyeux et enfantin à l'affiche en variant les typo et les couleurs du texte.

She is my Dancing Queen, Young and Sweet, Only Seventeen...

No... It's about a dancing Princess, not about a dancing Queen.
But maybe you'll have the melody stuck in your head now, just like me?! Try and sing Dancing... Princess!

It's still my Prinfeff of my secret project. I'm still looking for my way... I have her quite clearly in my head, but it doesn't comes out exactly like I thought it would. Anyway, I'm getting closer. So I keep on trying.

No, ce n'est pas une dancing Queen, mais une dancing Princesse.
Mais peut-être que vous aurez la mélodie dans la tête, tout comme moi?!

C'est toujours la "Prinfeffe" de mon projet secret. Je cherche ma voie... Pourtant je la vois plutôt clairement dans ma tête, mais ça sort jamais comme je m'y attends. Je m'approche, pourtant, je le sens. Alors je continue à essayer!

Happy Nihongo Birthday Stéphanie !!!

My friend Stéphanie turned 30, and we, her friends, wanted her to go to japan, so we put all of our pocket money together, and gave it to her, so she can at least eat one or two specialties in Japan!

I made the card to wish her a nice 30th Birthday, and a wonderful Japanese trip.
So that's her, already in Japan.

I wish she will enjoy discovering Japan as much as I did!

The card is made from cut cardboard, and paint, and paint markers.

Mon amie Stéphanie vient de fêter ses 30 ans, et nous, ses amis, avons mis ensemble le reste de notre argent de poche pour le lui donner, afin qu'elle puisse au moins se payer une ou deux glace au matcha et autres spécialités au Japon!

C'est moi qui me suis occupée de faire la carte, pour lui souhaiter un joyeux 30ème anniversaire et un merveilleux voyage au Japon!
Alors c'est elle sur la carte, déjà au Japon!

J'espère qu'elle aura autant de bonheur à découvrir le Japon que j'en ai eu!
